- Epic - "Instantly have access to over 20,000 books for kids 12 and under." This website/app is FREE for teachers. You can setup your class and have students read books on their level and interest. Students in lower grades can also choose to have books read aloud to them.

Math Apps
- Subitizing Tree - "Welcome to The Subitize Tree! This is the newest app from TeacherTipster.com! The object of the game is simple. Owl, frog, snail and many more of the forest animals have gotten trapped inside the Subitize Tree. You must perfect your subitizing skills in order to save our animal friends. Save all ten animals to beat the game and become a master subitizer!" This app is $0.99 and a perfect math app for primary grades.
- Ten Frame Fill - "10 Frame Fill" provides children practice with recognizing additive "10 Families" (e.g., 1 and 9, 2 and 8, etc.). Set the 10 Frame to fill in sequence or randomly. Use contrasting color chips to fill the 10 frame as you determine the answer. Select to show a corresponding number sentence."
- TenMarks - If you don't already use Ten Marks you should. This is one of the best app/websites out there for math review/practice. It has videos
- Base Ten Manipulatives - This simple app allows you to use base ten blocks in the form of ones, tens, hundreds, and thousands to aid in solving addition and/or subtraction problems.
- Geoboards - "Geoboard is a tool for exploring a variety of mathematical topics introduced in the elementary and middle grades. Learners stretch bands around the pegs to form line segments and polygons and make discoveries about perimeter, area, angles, congruence, fractions, and more."

- Seesaw - Seesaw is an amazing app where students can share their work with other students in the class as well as their parents at home. No longer do you need to take home the heavy bag full of papers to grade, just grab your iPad and go!

- Nearpod - "Easily create lessons in minutes for your next class. Import files (pdf, ppt, jpg) or Google slides and add interactive activities, websites, and videos to keep your students engaged in their learning."

Green Screen Video
- DoInk - This app is a perfect one to begin with when creating green screen videos. It does cost $0.99 but is well worth the $1 because it is so simple to use. You just layer what you want to make with videos or pictures using a green screen.
- Touchcast - This app is free and has SO many features! It can be a little overwhelming in the beginning but the cool thing is there are so many tutorial videos to show you how to do things.

- Telestory - "TeleStory is an augmented reality video camera that gets kids off the couch to perform and record their own TV shows through creative play."
- Action Movie FX - You can make awesome action movies with this simple app!
Video Creations (virtual people/characters)
- PuppetPals - Students can create animated videos with puppets on any topic of choice! There is a free version and a paid version.
- Chatterpix & SuperHero Comic Book Maker & Draw & Tell - These are all apps that create short videos where students can show what they know.
- Educreations - An app where students and teachers can create videos to teach any concept. When creating videos you can use pictures and words. In order to finalize a video you have to record your voice. This app does require a login and you can only create a new video once you have finalized your first video.
- Show Me - This is an interactive white board where students can create videos to show what they know. It's free, easy to use, but does require login.
- Tellagami - "Tellagami® is a mobile app that lets you create and share a quick animated Gami video."
- Toontastic - This is a great app for making videos and using cartoon characters. Super easy to use!
- Lego Movie - Do you like to play with Lego's and create videos. Using this app students can create short stop motion videos. This is an excellent app to use to create short videos.

- Inigma – QR Code Creator - If you don't already use QR codes in your classroom you should! Here is an easy app to use to scan them in.
Online Games - Assessment Tools
- Kahoot - Use this website to create games to review learning. Students will have so much fun and not want to stop! Students can also use this to create quizzes to demonstrate understanding.
- Quizziz - The difference between quizziz and kahoot is that the class does not have to play it all at once. You can assign a quizziz for classwork or homework. The students get a percent grade at the end of the quiz.
